Introduction
I am an applied macroeconomist working at the International Monetary Fund, currently in the Research Department (Macro-Financial Division). I obtained my PhD in Economics from the European University Institute in June 2014. My research focuses mainly on international finance, macroeconomics and economic history. I also have a strong interest and background in applied econometrics and big data analytics. Please check the research section of the website for more information about recent publications and projects.
Important: I will be on leave from the IMF from September 2020 onwards to start a new position at the Economics Department of the OECD (Macroeconomic Policy Division).
